This is Ashley, my oldest daughter. She is 20 years old. I had her when I was only 16, which was one of the hardest things I have ever had to go through. While all of my friends were out being normal teenagers, I was home making bottles and changing diapers. Having a baby when I was just a child myself forced me to grow up quick. Even though life seemed hard, I wouldn't change it for a minute. Ashley has grown up to be a beautiful person who is now my best friend. We share everything, and I admire her more everyday. Her best quality is that she is so strong. She gets what she wants in life no matter what obstacles may stand in her way. I am hoping that she will be enrolling in college for the Fall 2011 semester.
This is my second daughter Amber and she is 14 years old. Right now she is in 7th grade at Alden Middle School. She is so smart. She is on the Honor Roll this year. Amber is very involved in her church life. She goes to Bible study every Wednesday evening. She also goes to church every Sunday and spends the whole day there doing all sorts of community outreach activities. She can't wait to get a job and start saving money. She wants to work for the FBI when she grows up, in the Forensics Department. She watches all sorts of TV shows like CSI, Bones, Fringe, and documentaries involving crime solvers. Amber's best quality in life is that she is uniquely herself. Most kids her age are so concerned with doing whatever they need to do to fit in and be popular, but not Amber. She is refreshingly different. She is so strong to stand up for herself and what she believes in, even when it is different then everyone else.
My one and only wonderful son. I love him more than he will ever know.He won't let me hug or kiss him because he is too cool for that. His name is Andrew and he is 13 years old. He is also in the 7th grade and on the Honor Roll. He is very different from his sisters. He doesn't want anyone to know how smart he is, because he is afraid he won't be popular anymore. He is a natural brain I guess, because I have never seen him do a page of homework or study for a test. Andrew doesn't really like to do anything that involves staying indoors; he spends as much time as possible outside. He has his boating liscence and also a hunting permit. He plays tight end and defensive end in Football. My favorite quality that I see in Andrew is his never ending sense of humor, and his ability to look on the bright side of everything. He seems unfazed by negativity. He never seems to let anything bother him, and when something does he gets over it with a quickness.
The baby of my family. This is Alexis and she is my youngest daughter. She is 11 years old. She is in 6th grade and she is also on the Honor Roll. I spend a lot of time helping her with her homework, even though I think she just likes to see if I am as smart as she is. She loves going to church every Wednesday and Sunday with her brother and sister. She talks SO much. She drives everyone in our family a little crazy, but not me. I love that she has so much to say, and enjoy being able to hear about her many adventures in the world. She loves all kinds of animals, and when she grows up she wants to be a veterinarian. Alexis' best quality is her seemingly endless supply of cheer. She spends each day singing, dancing, and laughing. Her happiness is infectious, and brightens everyones day that she encounters.
